This template is used for advanced listing undocumented properties of abilities and talents.
Prefer multiline versions and remove unused parameters for clarity and ease of editing.
Use minimum precision of 2 for numerical values, higher if available.

Descriptions and possible values
Type
Define the type of the effect. Separate different effects with "," and effects with different scaling or target groups with "/"
- [None]
- Physical Damage
- Effects that deal a separate instance of Physical Damage
- Spell Damage
- Effects that deal a separate instance of Spell Damage
- Healing
- Effects that restore Health
- Shield
- Effects that grant Shields
- Mana / Mana restoration
- Effect grants Mana
- Resource
- Ability grants a non-Mana resource
- Bonus damage/healing/shield/Health/regeneration/etc.
- Effect increases the damage/healing/shield/etc. value of the ability by flat or %-based amount
- Summon
- Effects that summon units
- Movement: Dash
- Movement Ability that cannot go over terrain
- Define range and speed
- Movement: Launch
- Movement Ability that can go over terrain

- Crowd control
- Effects that Blind, Knockback, Daze, Displacement, Root, Stun (Sleep), Silence (Polymorph, Taunt, Mind Control) or Slow
- Status effect
- Effect applies a non-CC status effect, (e.g. Unstoppable, Invulnerable, Stasis, Movement Speed, Attack Speed/Slow)
- Offensive damage modifier
- Effects that affect damage output of a unit or Ability
- Add note on stacking
- Defensive damage modifier
- Effects that affect damage taken by a unit
- Add note on stacking

- Effects that affect healing output of a unit or Ability
- Add note on stacking
- Healing received modifier
- Effects that affect healing received by a unit
- Add note on stacking
- Buff
- Positive status effects without a better classification
- Debuff
- Negative status effects without a better classification
Scaling
Scaling defines if/how much the effects value increases every level up. Separate effects with different scaling with "/".
- Numerical: e.g. 4.00%
- No scaling: -
- Target group or effect can be specified in parentheses, eg. 4.00% (damage) / - (Health)
- Omit if Ability does not deal damage, heal or Shield
Affects
Target group(s) of the effect. Separate target groups of the same effect with "," and of different effects with "/".
- Self
- Allies (self excluded) / Enemies / All units / Non-[category]
- Heroes (=Allied Heroes/Enemy Heroes/Heroes/Non-Heroes)
- Minions
- Mercenaries
- "Enemies" refers to both neutral mercenaries in a camp and captured, laning enemy Mercenaries
- "Neutral" specifically refers to Mercenaries in a camp
- "Allied" refers to allied captured, laning Mercenaries
- Summons
- Can be specified to affect certain Summons)
- Structures
- Monsters
- Ability (if e.g. a Talent increases a single Ability's damage)
Targeting
Targeting mechanic of the ability.
- Automatic
- Ability chooses targets by itself
- Cursor tracking
- Ability follows the user's cursor during the cast
- No target
- Ability does not require targeting
- Point target
- Ability targets a point
- Unit target
- Ability targets a unit
- 2-step target mechanic, where user defines the initial point and the direction
Properties
Additional effects of the ability.

Cast Time
Duration of the Ability's cast animation.
- Instant (Ability has no windup or backswing)
- Numerical (in seconds) (does not include initial delay from Abilities)
- 0 + 0.125 seconds (windup + backswing duration)
- Use "(ch)" to indicate channeled windup, and "CH" an (indefinite) channel time: 0.125 (ch) + CH + 0
Range
The (maximum) cast range of the Ability.
- Global
- Numerical (offset to target point/unit, use radius for hero- or target point-centered AoEs)
AoE
Define shape of an area
- Equilateral Triangle
- Square
- Rectangle
- Circle
- Radial
- Cone-shaped abilities

Arc
Arc of radial AoE, splash or hitbox
- Numerical: eg. "45 degrees"
Hitbox
Target search area of moving AoE or skillshot
- [Width] x [Heigth]
