Steve Holmes is a Game Designer for Blizzard Entertainments Heroes of the Storm. Steve Holmes focuses on creating, enhancing, and maintaining the battlegrounds and brawls in Blizzard Entertainment’s MOBA. He’s touched all the battlegrounds in Heroes at this point, but he put the most work into Volskaya Foundry and the recent Garden of Terror rework.

Steve joined Blizzard Entertainment in January 2013 as an associate test analyst for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm. He eventually transitioned into automation engineering for StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void and Heroes of the Storm, ultimately moving into technical design and now game design for Heroes.
Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media & Communications from Texas Tech University, and enjoys playing cooperative board games and snowboarding in his spare time.[1]
