Fallen Shamans are mercenaries found on Battlefield of Eternity and Infernal Shrines. They first spawn after 1:00 minutes into the game and respawn after 4:00 minutes.
Gameplay[ | ]
The Fallen Shaman camp is made up of the Shaman himself, and 2 dogs. The camp is fairly hard to take and generally requires more than one Hero. The Shaman will summon new dogs periodically if his current 2 are killed (this does not occur while capturing the camp, only after the Shaman fights for a team). Shaman and his dogs also deal 100% increased damage to Minions, Structures and Summons.
The constantly summoned dogs and lane Minions draw attack priority from Structures (as they are closer targets) before the ranged Shaman, allowing it to deal damage for a long time before being targeted. As such, it may deal significant Structure damage over time, if left unattended, making it the best camp at split pushing.
The Fallen Shaman also beats catapults if he is protected by a wave. While a Shaman camp doesn't do much more when you already took down a keep (it will quickly die to the Core), besides more aggressively pushing your wave, it is an essential defensive mercenary camp when you are under catapult pressure.
Common Camp Capture Timings[ | ]
- Battlefield of Eternity: Capture Shaman camp as the Immortal spawns.
- Infernal Shrines: Capture the Shaman Camp anytime the Shrine spawns middle or bottom, especially bottom.
Background[ | ]
Fallen society is tribal, and the Shamans are the rulers of their race. The role of Shaman is a coveted one, and only the bravest and smartest of the Fallen attain the coveted training required to rise to the position. Their mastery of fire is evident in the balls of flame that they cast to incinerate their enemies. Their magical abilities also allow them to raise their Fallen brethren from the dead, making the Shaman especially dangerous when traveling with large groups of Fallen.[1] The Fallen Hounds are commonly found among groups of the fallen and are utilized as guard animals, beasts of burden, or even food by their demonic masters. These beasts are loyal to a fault, regardless of the abuse heaped upon them.[2]
