First issue[edit source]

I have prepared screenshots of all the available 124 portraits (with the addition of Greymane) but I'm not sure how to organize them. In my opinion, the best would be a table with two columns, the left one with images, and the right one with official descriptions for each. Something like the ability pages. But I don't how to make such a table, and if it's possible at all. I searched the Help section but couldn't find it. Anyone care to guide me to an example?--Adunaii (talk) 15:03, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

Like this?
Portrait Name Description ¿Reward?
100px Jack-O'-Lantern Blablabla Winning 25 games during Hallow's End (2015)

Have you considered adding related to portraits to the Hero pages. (i.e on Artanis' page, there would be the Artanis Portrait and Master portrait and for Sylvannas, you would show her portraits along with the undercity one. )
--LinearSparks (talk) 16:42, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Maybe we can also add them in hero's gallery --Kandooww (talk) 16:52, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Yes, exactly! Thank you, Kandooww! About your suggestion, LinearSparks, it's a pretty good idea, too. Probably, just put a part of the table with all related portraits. But what's about the Tiger mount then? It's the only mount so far that grants a portrait. I doubt it would be sensible to mention it in the Mounts article. Also, we could put portraits in categories in this article, but I doubt it's that reasonable because, unlike Mounts, there are lots of portraits unique in their category (like receiving one for purchasing a mount). So I guess, I can just list them in the order they appear on the in-game profile page? The only strict category I could think of is the accessibility, like the Heroes of the Dorm portrait which can't be obtained anymore. Or can it if via a code?-- 17:53, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Why did you title this section "fist issue"? What does that even mean?-- 21:35, 5 May 2017 (UTC)
I think he meant "First," because it's the first section? I corrected it. — Rmkane (talk) 14:41, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

2016 Spring Regional Championship Portrait[edit source]

For some reason, I cannot upload the 2016 Spring Regional Championship Portrait in JPG. I uploaded a PNG version for the time being. The same is true for the 2016 Summer Regional Championship Portrait. It says ""File extension ".jpg" does not match the detected MIME type of the file (image/png)."--Adunaii (talk) 21:25, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Changelog ideas[edit source]

There are two things that could be mentioned in the changelog.
First, the Facebook Portrait was changed some months after its introduction (summer-fall 2015).
Second, at some point in time between January and April 2016 the order of portraits was changed from chronological to alphabetical. I took most of the screenshots in December 2015 and they went as follows. Nexus Recruit - Alpha Player - Alpha Hero - Beta Player - Beta Hero - Lunar Festival - BlizzCon 2014 - Wonder Billie - Billie the Kid (sic!) - Tespa Membership - Golden Tiger (sic!) - HotD - Launch Week - StarCraft Rebels - Swarm Evolution - Undercity - Stormstout - Night Elf Betrayer - Reighn of Chaos - ... - Treasure Goblin - Storm Watcher - Jack-o'-Lantern - Recruit A Friend - Monkey Elder.
P.S. There is an inconsistency in naming. The Monkey Elder Portrait's description capitalized the word "Event" whereas no other one does it.--Adunaii (talk) 21:01, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Resolution[edit source]

Of the current 141 portraits, 5 are HD. 2016 Spring Global Championship, 2016 Spring Regional Championship, 2016 Summer Regional Championship Portrait, HotD and Tespa Membership. Is there any way to get the rest?--Adunaii (talk) 21:20, 9 May 2016 (UTC)
Seems like the Wiki project updated their article. All my work has been in vain. Can I steal their images for the glory of Gamepedia or are they protected?--Adunaii (talk) 22:33, 9 May 2016 (UTC)

Well, they are in-game files, right? :D--Kandooww (talk) 05:00, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

Missing Portraits[edit source]

Currently missing from the list are all the new Sketch, Remastered, Ink, Sepia, Super Power and Diablo Legends. Also missing are 2017 Bracket Challenge and Veteran Hero --Celellach (talk) 20:48, 5 May 2017 (UTC)

Heroes 2.0 - 4K Portraits[edit source]

Over the next few days, I will be uploading and replacing all existing Portraits (that I have access to) with 4K images like I have already done with the latest versions.

I was able to find some portraits after some good looking.[edit source]

I was able to discover where the portraits are located in the game files, but they're split in sheets. The finding process is difficult, so it may take a while for me to find them, since they're separated in sheets and it's on lots of folders with some unneeded data along with.

I'll be transitioning the page to .png files later if I'm able to find everything. Gabrielwoj (talk) 03:38, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

Update: Yes, I'm getting a lot of files. Great news everybody, I might be able to find everything in high quality! Gabrielwoj (talk) 03:45, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
