Cyborg hero	Stukov: A cyborg? You must come from a time before Project Purification. How very interesting. Cyborg hero: <hero dependent>		Project Purification was a mass purge done in the 23rd century by the government of Earth, the United Powers League, which imprisoned and executed four hundred million criminals, hackers, dissidents, and anyone who had genetic and cybernetic augmentation. It was from these prisoners that the terrans of the Koprulu sector are descended from.
	Cyborg hero: <hero dependent> Stukov: There was a time I would have considered you and your kind degenerates. Ironic.		Part of Project Purification's goal was to maintain the "Divinity of Mankind," which called for the eradication of all non-vital human prosthetics and mutations. Those that deviated from the divinity of mankind were considered degenerates. Stukov finds this ironic, as now he is something far further from human than a cyborg.
Kerrigan	Stukov: The Queen of Blades... This should prove an amusing diversion. Kerrigan: Let's go tear them apart.		When Stukov was experimented on and tortured by Samir Duran, he called to Kerrigan to help him destroy Duran and his hybrid breeding operations. While Stukov unknowingly fought Kerrigan in the Brood War, Stukov died before she revealed herself to their forces, the United Earth Directorate, and even expressed admiration for Stukov after his death.
	Kerrigan: You, huh? This could be fun. Stukov: Doubtful.
Malthael	Stukov: The Aspect of Death. Perhaps after this, you can release me from my torment? Malthael: Impossible.		Stukov was killed during the Brood War, and in spite of the best efforts of many continues to live as a half-human half-zerg monster. Malthael serves as a grim reaper of sorts, but has yet to have reaped Stukov.
	Malthael: Death comes. Stukov: Not for me.
Lt. Morales	Stukov: Lieutenant Morales. I could call you a traitor but... aren't we all? Lt. Morales: Wow, that's a nasty burn. Here, take two of these and get the hell over it.		Lt. Morales served in the UED Expeditionary Fleet under Vice-admiral Stukov when he was fully human. However, after the fleet was destroyed, Stukov was infested and served the Swarm, and Morales joined the Terran Dominion, two of the factions they were sent from Earth to conquer.
	Lt. Morales: Great, I gotta work with you? Stukov: Come now, lieutenant. Is that any way to speak to your former Vice Admiral?

Protoss hero	Stukov: Oh, good, the protoss... I was hoping to get an indulgent lecture today Protoss hero: <hero dependent>		One common complaint about Khalai protoss is their propensity for long winded speeches and lectures.
	Protoss hero: <hero dependent> Stukov: Your permission to speak has been revoked.
Terran hero (except Raynor)	Stukov: Terrans. I despise you almost as much I as despise myself. Terran hero: <hero dependent>		While Stukov seems to have nostalgia for the UED, he seems to now dislike humanity as a whole. Note: This applies to all terran characters he has no prior interactions with except Raynor, who has a Generic (Positive) interaction with Stukov. Raynor and Stukov share a respect for one another, with Raynor having attempted to cure Stukov's infestation rather than kill him, and through Heart of the Swarm he expresses fondness for Raynor.
	Terran hero: <hero dependent> Stukov: When the UED returns, I hope they crush you.		Stukov was part of the fleet sent by the United Earth Directorate to subjugate the sector and the powers there, terran and alien. However, it was defeated when Kerrigan united (and later betrayed) the various terran and protoss factions to fight against the UED. However, Stukov, Kerrigan and many terrans feel that the UED is still out there watching and waiting, and that a second invasion is on the horizon.
Zagara	Stukov: Our paths cross once again, Overqueen Zagara. Zagara: Let us show these fools the fury of the Swarm!		After Legacy of the Void, Zagara is given full control of the Swarm and takes the title of Overqueen. This quote seems to indicate Stukov is no longer with the Swarm, however this has yet to be confirmed in a canoncial StarCraft source.
	Zagara: Finally, a suitable ally. Stukov: If only I felt likewise.
Zarya	Stukov: Greetings, comrade! Zarya: Comrade? For someone from the future, you're quite stuck in the past.		Both Zarya and Stukov are from Earth and Russian. Stukov's use of old Russian phrases, and the UED's use of classic relics from the 20th century such as record players, shows a nostalgia for the past even in 2500.
	Zarya: Good to meet someone from the motherland in such a foreign place. Stukov: We should swap stories sometime. How I miss the green hills of our home.		When Stukov talks to Kerrigan as her leviathan remains in space, he tells her "when I see the stars arrayed before me like this. I think of Earth. I remember its green hills." Stukov has been stranded in the Koprulu sector for years, and knows he can never return to his home of Earth.
Zerg hero	Stukov: <scoff> The zerg. It seems not even here I can escape you. Zerg hero: <hero dependent>		Stukov has constantly been tied to the zerg since his invasion of the sector, first setting the stage for his fleet to control the Second Overmind, then dying to the agent of Kerrigan, Samir Duran, then being infested by the cerebrate Kaloth, then briefly cured, and as the cure failed he was brought back into the Swarm under Kerrigan.
	Zerg hero: <hero dependent> Stukov: Apologies, but umm... Do I know you? You zerg tend to blend together.		While part of the Swarm, Stukov has retained his own individuality and is disconnected from the hive mind, likely due to the brief curing of his infestation in StarCraft 64.
	Zerg hero: <hero dependent> Stukov: My allegiance was to Kerrigan. Not to you.		Unlike most zerg, Stukov didn't follow the zerg out of any kind of loyalty or by force of will, but simply because there was no other place for him to go, and because Kerrigan helped free him and obtain revenge on Samir Duran. After she left the Swarm, Stukov's canonical fate is unknown.

vs. Protoss hero	I am not impressed, alien.		Stukov has had many run ins with the protoss, some ending in victory, such as when he overran the base of Fenix on Aiur, some in failure, such as when Artanis broke through his blockade of Braxis.
vs. Sgt. Hammer	I have never been a fan of siege tanks.		In StarCraft: Brood War, Alexei Stukov's faction of the UED appears in-game using the standard terran units (though with the two additional units added in the expansion). However on maps where both the Terran Dominion and UED are present, the UED's AI will strongly favor building air units and infantry over factory units like siege tanks.
vs. Terran hero	Backwater peasants, all of you.		When Stukov confronts General Edmund Duke in the Brood War mission The Dylarian Shipyards," he tells Duke "you should know that we represent not one of your rag-tag peasant militias, but the combined might of the United Earth Directorate."

vs. Zagara	The infested serve no queen.		After Legacy of the Void, Stukov's fate is unknown. However, quotes such as this seem to indicate that Stukov left the Zerg Swarm after Zagara rose to control it, but this has not been confirmed in a canonical StarCraft source.
vs. Zarya	До свида́ния. Romanization: Do svidániya. Translation: Goodbye. Language: Russian		Both Stukov and Zarya are of Russian descent. While most national borders were erased with the rise of the United Powers League on Earth, Stukov maintains a strong affinity for his Russian heritage.
vs. Zerg hero	What is a beast before a monster?		When Kerrigan says Stukov is free to leave the Swarm after helping them on the Skygeirr Platform, Stukov responds with "Hah! Where would I go? Half man, half zerg? A monster!"

	Consider yourself a conscript.		When Stukov recruits Samir Duran into the United Earth Directorate, he tells him, "Very well, Lieutenant. Consider yourself and your men the first colonial conscripts of the United Earth Directorate." Also a reference to the fact Stukov "conscripts" the dead by infesting them, turning them into his own forces.
	I am slightly jealous.		Unable to die, the Heroes of the Storm interpretation of Stukov seems to long for death.
	To hell with you.		When Stukov faced down Samir Duran in the Brood War mission "Patriot's Blood," Stukov shouted "to hell with you!" before Duran shot him.
	Say good night.		When Samir Duran kills Stukov, he tells the vice admiral "Say goodnight, Stukov." When Stukov finally gets his revenge in Legacy of the Void, he tells Duran "I've come to say goodnight you son of a bitch" before killing him.

I am a master of "unconventional" warfare.		This is Blizzard's description for the Specialist class. Before the release of Stukov, many players expected from him to be a Specialist. Also, in Co-op Missions, Stukov comments on his forces "My army is... unorthodox, but effective." During his time in the United Earth Directorate, Stukov was known for research and experimental technology.
Everything about what I've become disgusts me. But that does not mean I intend to stop fighting.		Stukov hates his infestation, but in StarCraft II, maintains high spirits and continues fighting.

On, the plus side, I've gotten very good at arm wrestling lately.		A reference to how large only one arm of Stukov has gotten.
Is it hot to anyone else? (to self) How I wish I could take off this jacket.		Due to his infestation, his flesh has rolled over his jacket, blending it into his body.
While Duran was experimenting on me, I used to tell myself it could always get worse. Then, it got worse.		Duran was a xel'naga who first killed Stukov, then when he was resurrected by infestation imprisoned him under the guise of researching the protoss cure. He used Stukov in order to help accelerate his research on creating protoss/zerg hybrids, torturing him for years.
A virus is neither alive, nor dead. It is... other. Existing only to plague and control the living. <beat> I know the feeling.		Stukov has been resurrected via infestation after complete death, and spreads the zerg hyper-evolutionary virus around to others to both infest, and in Heroes of the Storm, to heal.
Who put this "I'm with Stukov" sign on my back? Was it you? ...NOT funny!
Don't click there! It sends shivers down what used to be my spine.		Infestation changes the internal workings of a terran, including their bone structure.
Come to think of it the last time I went to the gym I did skip leg day. Oh, and "other arm" day.		A reference to Stukov's infested arm being much larger than any other part of this body.
Kaneda? Who is that? And why do I want to crush him?		A reference to the character Tetsuo from the manga and movie Akira. Much of Stukov's kit, including the horrific extending and mutating arm, is based off of Tetsuo. Kaneda is Tetsuo's old friend, who quickly becomes his enemy in the story.
For my enemy, the day Stukov infested their team was the most horrifying experience of their lives. To me, it was Tuesday.		A reference to a line from the character M. Bison from the Street Fighter movie, "for you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But to me, it was Tuesday." Bison and Stukov have similar uniforms and hat wear.

	Well, back to work.		As Stukov has already experienced death and in Heroes of the Storm seems to desire it, the period of which he respawns seems like a nice respite and business as usual.

Resurrected	Why will no one let me die?		In Heroes of the Storm, Stukov seems to desire finally getting a true death.
	An angel..?		Auriel is currently the only healer able to resurrect, who is an angel.
	Gerard?... no, he is gone.		Admiral Gerard DuGalle was one of Stukov's oldest friends, and the leader of the UED Expeditionary Fleet that Stukov was vice-admiral of. However, due to the machinations of Kerrigan and Samir Duran, DuGalle was tricked into ordering Duran to kill his old friend. After his fleet's defeat and imminent destruction, DuGalle wrote a message to his wife expressing how deeply his guilt ran for killing Stukov, and committed suicide. After his resurrection and infestation, Stukov regularly states how much he misses his old friend.
Taunting	Can you withstand a tenth of what I have?		Stukov was modified by Samir Duran, one of the xel'naga who had uplifted and modified the zerg. As such, he was the second most powerful zerg alive, second only to Kerrigan.
