The play screen is the game screen through which players can build their group, select and inspect heroes, and enter a match.
The play screen is reached through clicking the 'Play' button found at the bottom of all menu screens.

At the top of the screen the current members of the player's group are listed, along with buttons to change the player's currently selected hero and invite others to join the group. The currently selected hero is displayed in the centre of the screen.
To the left of the current hero are buttons to view and select various skins and mounts, as well as a button to view the hero's abilities and talents. Directly below the hero are buttons to select a game mode, and to begin the match.
The bottom of the screen features the same range of features found on the main menu screen, including access to the other menu screens and the menu pane.
