"Malthael's Bargain", was a unique event in Heroes of the Storm. It began on June 13, 2017 and ended on June 26, 2017. This event celebrates both the arrival of Malthael to the Nexus and the addition of the Necromancer class to Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. During the event, playing in a party — with at least one friend — and playing with Diablo heroes counts toward the quest. The quest was eligible in all modes, except the Custom Mode and Brawl mode.

To celebrate Malthael’s entrance to the Nexus, as well as the Necromancer making his way out of the Eastern Swamps and into Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, we’ve struck an accord with the Aspect of Death himself. Agree to his bargain, complete his task, and reap… rewards!
