	Gul'dan: You... Maiev: I've seen how you die, Gul'dan. Betrayed and desperate. You deserve nothing less.		Whilst exploring the tomb of Sargeras in search of Illidan, Maiev found blood runes made by Gul'dan as he made his way into the temple. Throughout her journey, she read as how he would continue to struggle through the tomb before something abruptly cut him off, leaving his final rune unfinished.

When the orcs travelled to Kalimdor, Thrall placed the Warsong clan in charge of providing lumber for the Horde. As a result of this logging, the night elves remained hostile to the orcs after the defeat of the Burning Legion.

Kael'thas	Maiev: Allying with Illidan. I always knew you couldn't be trusted, Kael'thas. Kael'thas: Let's get this over with.		At the Terror of the Tides, Kael initially aided Maiev's hunt for Illidan. During their search, Tyrande held off a wave of undead from Kael's caravan, but the bridge she was on collapsed, washing her down the river. Kael would later report this to Malfurion, who imprisoned Maiev for lying about Tyrande's death before working with his brother to rescue Tyrande. In the Curse of the Blood Elves, Kael aids Illidan in escaping Maiev and imprisoning her.
	Kael'thas: I see. It is you... Maiev: Yes, me. The one who saved your wretched life back in Lordaeron.		Maiev and Tyrande found Kael attempting to transport supplies to the Alliance and offered to accompany him. In exchange, Kael would aid them in hunting Illidan.
Kerrigan	Maiev: I see you too thirst for vengeance. We will claim it together. Kerrigan: Let's go tear them apart.
	Kerrigan: You, huh? This could be fun. Maiev: I never have fun. But I will enjoy tearing our enemies to shreds.

A pristine Core Hound Tooth, a custom forged Perdition's Blade, and of course, a sharpened Shard of Azzinoth. My dagger collection is quite extensive. That's because I'm a fan of knives.		This is a reference to multiple obtainable weapons in World of Warcraft, and also a pun on one of Maiev's abilities, which she possessed since Warcraft III.
So I murdered a few Highborne, tried to kill Malfurion, and fled Darnassus as a wanted fugitive. Can't you just drop it and move on? Everyone else has!		Reception of Maiev's actions in Wolfheart was rather negative, however, all of her actions are more or less ignored or handwaved when Maiev returns in World of Warcraft: Legion.
I am nothing like Illidan! I merely do whatever is necessary to achieve my goals, even if it means making morally questionable decisions while growling about the hatred I've felt for ten thousand years!
