When Kerrigan was brought into the Ghost Program, her psionic profile was powerful enough to where they readjusted their scale to put Kerrigan at a 10. While Nova was also a 10, she was never quite as powerful as Kerrigan was. The two characters have also drawn comparison due to their similar models and roles.
	Kerrigan: Ready to watch a real assassin at work? Nova: Whatever.
Murky	Nova: Ugh. Why did I get partnered with the fish again? Murky: <Response indicating he is excited and ready to fight>

During the Heart of the Swarm mission "Back in the Saddle," Nova is ordered to capture Raynor and Kerrigan and raids a base housing them. Ghost agents commonly undergo memory wipes after missions in order to ensure classified information cannot be extracted, and in order to ensure their loyalty. Nova joined the Terran Dominion for the promise of them wiping some of the painful memories of her youth, but regained many of them due to exposure to terrazine gas years later. Memories are a common theme of Nova's stories.

vs. Kerrigan	I never get tired of that.		In spite of never directly facing Kerrigan in combat, Nova went through her training hearing of how powerful Kerrigan was, and the legacy she left upon the Ghost Program.
vs. King hero	I guess I can add regicide to the list.		Ghosts serve as assassins for their government, and often have to assassinate prominent senators, rebels, and political figures. However, without much in the way of monarchies aside from the Terran Dominion they serve, Nova has never been sent to assassinate royalty.
vs. Prince hero	Good night, sweet prince.		A reference to the line "goodnight, sweet prince and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest" from William Shakespeare's "Hamlet."
vs. Raynor	See ya around, marshal.		Raynor was marshal of the colony of Mar Sara before its purification by the protoss.
vs. Sylvanas	Arrows? (scoffs) How medieval.		Sylvanas uses a bow and arrow, while Nova uses a C-20A rifle.

No! I am not Kerrigan, and if I had my own game you'd know that.		Nova was initially the main character of the canceled stealth shooter StarCraft: Ghost. She would however get her own books, comics, appearances in StarCraft II, and finally her own game story in Nova Covert Ops. Due to their similar designs and roles, Nova has drawn many comparisons to Kerrigan.
A ghost's first and best weapon is her mind. Everything else is supplemental.		Ghosts are psionic soldiers that can use their powers on stealth and espionage missions. They are trained through brutal conditions to also be adaptable and intelligent in the face of impossible battlefield odds.
If they're not dead, it's just because I haven't killed them yet.
What can I say, I do have the best equipment.		A reference to one of the ghost poke quotes in StarCraft II "I think the female ghosts have nicer equipment." This is a reference to the fact that both Nova and Kerrigan were hero unit ghosts with improved health and damage, while the standard "male" ghosts were weaker units.
Watch where you're clicking! I'm not just some piece of ass...assin.		Much of Nova's promotional art for the canceled StarCraft: Ghost focused on her rear, to a degree that was noted by fans. A play on words with "piece of ass" and "assassin."
You ever heard the one about the– [this joke has been indefinitely postponed]		What was to be Nova's debut game, StarCraft: Ghost, was in development for 12 years, being "indefinitely postponed" near the end of its lifecycle before finally being officially canceled in 2014.
Is that a nuclear launch I detect, or are you just glad to see me?		When a ghost launches a nuclear missile, the warning "nuclear launch detected" plays across the map. A play on the "Do you have a ____ in your pants or are you just happy to see me?" line of sexual innuendo.
Ghost Academy (installation)|Ghost Academy] all I hear is great Sarah is at this, or how wonderful Kerrigan did at that. Kerrigan, Kerrigan, Kerrigan!		Nova and Kerrigan are often compared, as both are powerful female ghosts who have very similar appearances. Nova and Kerrigan were also both class 10 psionics, though Nova was just slightly less psionically gifted than Kerrigan was as a ghost. A reference to Jan's famous "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" line from the TV show, The Brady Bunch.
One shot, center mass. Poof.		One shot center mass is a a term for a sniper shooting someone through the chest.
Boo!		One of the ghost poke quotes in StarCraft II. A play on ghosts the name of fictional undead spirits.
You think you have issues with your parents? Clearly, you haven't heard my story.		Nova was the daughter of the powerful Terra Family, one of the affluent Old Families who ran the Terran Confederacy. However, her psionic abilities fully awoke with a terrorist group killed her family, causing her powers to destroy her family's skyscraper and hundreds in it. She fled to the slums of Tarsonis, where she was captured and broken by a local crime lord, her powers bent to use for his own schemes. After she was rescued by the Ghost Program, she demanded the tortured memories of killing her family and life in the slums be wiped.
I can't believe I made out with Tosh. Wait, was I mind wiped in that manga]? I always forget.		Gabriel Tosh was a friend of Nova who trained with her in the Ghost Program. The two had a romantic relationship briefly. However, an injury prevented Tosh from being fully mind-wiped, and he began to realize the horrors the Terran Dominion were committing, and he faked his death to escape the Ghost Program, joining a group named the spectres to overthrow the Dominion. While Nova was mind wiped several times in the manga Ghost Academy, she would regain these memories due to exposure to terrazine gas.
Blondes have more fun. (gunshot) (man screaming) See? So fun!		"Blondes have more fun" quote is a phrase popularized by a Clairol advertising campaign.
Failure is never an option. No, seriously. Go check the menu, I'll wait. Not there, huh?		"Failure is never an option" is Nova's build quote in Wings of Liberty.
