Raynor	Lt. Morales: Commander Raynor, I got your back! Raynor: Well this ought to be fun!		The symbol on Morales's shield is a mix of the Caduceus symbol and that of Raynor's revolutionary group Raynor's Raiders. As such she has some connection to his group.
Sgt. Hammer	Lt. Morales: Hey! I know you! Alabama Kowalski, right? Sgt. Hammer: Hell yeah!
Tychus	Lt. Morales: Marine and Medic. A classic combination! Tychus: Now if only I still had my stimpacks.		Marine and medic were a common unit composition in StarCraft, with medics about to heal the damage caused by the stimpack ability.

The United Earth Directorate sought to invade the sector and subjugate the terran nations there under their rule. As such, many terrans distrust members of the UED, and sympathizers and former members of the fleet are often in hiding. Tychus however was in cryosleep during their invasion in the Brood War

vs. Pandaren hero	I.. can't believe I just killed a panda!		Morales is from Earth and thus has knowledge of pandas. The state of pandas on Earth is unknown, as in the StarCraft universe conflicts in the 21st century eradicated communism in the Eastern Nations, where pandas are native.
vs. Protoss hero	Only good alien, is a dead alien!		Reflects the UED's xenophobic stance on alien nations. Also a reference to a quote from the film adaptation of Starship Troopers with the quote "the only good bug is a dead bug." The UED itself was inspired by the United Citizen Federation from the film.
vs. Raynor	He's dead, Jim.		A poke quote from the medic in StarCraft: Brood War. Also a reference to a reoccurring quote of Leonard McCoy from the original Star Trek.
vs. Terran hero	You picked the wrong side, friend.		When the UED arrived in the sector, it subjugated a number of the terran colonies. While some surrendered quietly, the UED fought a campaign to conquer those that resisted.
vs. Nazeebo	Try practicing real medicine.		Nazeebo is a "witch doctor," and not a real doctor like Morales.
vs. Weird hero	Anyone know what that was?

I joined the UED because I wanted to make the universe a safer place for my family, never though I'd end up here.		Lt. Morales was a medic of the government of Earth, the UED, which sought to conquer the Koprulu Sector during the Brood War. After the conflict and the fleet's defeat she was stranded in the sector 60,000 light years from home.
Whenver I think of Earth, I realize how much I miss... everything. Even the bugs. They were so much smaller back home, you know?
Oh no. This is the poking thing, isn't it? Think of something quick. ...Damn it, I'm a doctor, not a comedian!		"Damn it I'm a doctor not an ____" is a reoccurring quote of Doctor Leonard McCoy from the original Star Trek.
If someone asks, I tell them healing is easy. It's exactly like killing, but in reverse.		Similar to a quote from medic Lisa Cassidy in the novel StarCraft II: Heaven's Devils: "Bein' a medic isn't too different from being a soldier. I just kill in reverse."
Everyone always wants to shoot the medic first. That's what the giant life regenerating shield is for.
Wait, isn't shooting a medic a war crime? Do the Geneva Conventions apply in the Nexus?		The Geneva Conventions are a series of laws detailing what classifies as a war crime. Given the fascist nature of the United Earth Directorate and their use of zerg on terran combatants, it's unclear if the Conventions even still apply on Earth.
Once you've delivered neurostims to a fledgling Overmind, everything else is a piece of cake, trust me.		In the final terran Brood War level "To Chain the Beast," the player sends four medics to pacify the Second Overmind and take control of the majority of the zerg. According to this quote, Lt. Morales was one of the four medics the player sends.
Listen, you can only be asked 'What's up, doc?' so many times before you start contemplating malpractice.		"What's up, Doc" is the famous catchphrase of the Looney Tunes character Bugs Bunny.
Oh, I hate needles, personally. Sticking other people with needles however? Well, that's just good clean fun.		Medics commonly use medical nanites to treat marines, but sometimes must use more invasive methods of healing.
Always remember the medic's code. First: do no harm. If that doesn't work, throw grenades at them.		"Do no harm" is part of the Hippocratic Oath doctors take before entering the medical field.
Marines love gossip. They always spread rumors like that we use staple guns to close up wounds. Idiots. I use a nail gun, staples are expensive.		A reference to the StarCraft Field Manual, which has a section detailing the medic. In a section describing the advanced surgery medics, a marine writes off to the side "Using a staple gun isn't 'surgery.'"
Gotta say, I like the new gear! Wait... no Optic Flare? Really? I appreciate the grenade launcher, but I already miss blinding people.		Optic Flare is an ability from StarCraft: Brood War for medics, which they could use on targets to reduce their vision to 1, giving them the "blind" status. As only UED medics were outfitted with the A-13 grenade launcher, the ability was dropped from future medics.
Look, there's a little note! "This healing beam has not been evaluated by the FDA. Please do not operate large machinery or mythical creatures after healing. Side effects may include nausea, dimensional displacement, stomach irritation, and sentient discharges. Always consult a doctor before using healing beam." Hmm. Maybe I'll just stick to using this thing on other people.		This lampshades the fact that medics can heal other characters but not themselves.
