In StarCraft: Brood War, Artanis was much skinnier and less clothed, but became much more muscular in his StarCraft II redesign. Nova	Ghost Kerrigan: Hmm, you look familiar. Should I know you? Nova: Whatever.		Kerrigan and Nova are often compared, as they were both female ghosts and have a similar appearance and role. However, Nova was recruited to the Ghost Program after Kerrigan fell to the zerg.
	Nova: Kerrigan. Ghost Kerrigan: The one and only.
Raynor	Ghost Kerrigan: It's you and me, Jim. You ready? Raynor: Always.		Raynor and Kerrigan fell in love during their time in the Sons of Korhal, but Kerrigan was infested and had her well subsumed to that of the zerg. Jim Raynor used a relic named the Keystone to purge her of zerg, returning her to human. In canon, some zerg remained in her, but in the Queen of Ghosts timeline Kerrigan was fully purified.
	Raynor: You up for this, darlin'? Ghost Kerrigan: C'mon, do you have to ask?
Tassadar	Ghost Kerrigan: I am not your enemy, Tassadar. Things have changed. Tassadar: Yes. You radiate a purple glow now, how very different.		Used normally for her regular primal appearance. When she became a primal zerg, Kerrigan was supposidly restructured from the base strands up as a fully new creature. However, in gameplay appearance she looked exactly the same as she did as the Queen of Blades, only purple.
	Tassadar: It has been a long time, oh Queen of the Zerg. Ghost Kerrigan: Tell me about it. Also, not zerg anymore. Try to keep up.		Lampshading that Kerrigan has changed many times between zerg and human over the course of the campaigns of StarCraft.
Tychus	Ghost Kerrigan: Tychus... Ugh, I can't believe it. Tychus: I can't believe it either.
	Tychus: I can't believe I got stuck babysittin' you. Ghost Kerrigan: Well, now I'm kinda glad you end up infested.		Tychus canonically does not end up infested, but this likely refers to his Infested Tychus skin, which may be in the same universe as Queen of Ghosts Kerrigan.
Zagara	Ghost Kerrigan: Zagara. If you're as tough and mean as I remember, this should be easy. Zagara: Undoubtedly.		Oddly while Queen of Ghosts Kerrigan does not know Abathur, she remembers Zagara. Zagara was created by Kerrigan as the first of her Broodmothers, a breed of intelligent sub-commanders for her Swarm.
	Zagara: My queen. Ghost Kerrigan: Not even close.		Queen of Ghosts Kerrigan is terran, and thus has rejected the Swarm.
Zeratul	Ghost Kerrigan: Zeratul.. huh. Alright, this could be fun. Zeratul: You and I interpret this 'fun' very differently.		Kerrigan and Zeratul have a checkered past, as Kerrigan hunted him across Char, tricked him into wiping out the Renegade_Zerg for her, and forced him to kill his matriarch, Raszagal. However, due to her being part of a prophecy to prevent the end of the universe, Zeratul was forced to help her.
	Zeratul: Kerrigan. I hope your anger will not become a liability. Ghost Kerrigan: Can you blame a girl for wanting to let loose?
Zerg hero	Ghost Kerrigan: Keep your claws away! I've had enough of the Zerg for one lifetime. Zerg hero: <hero dependent>		As a terran, Kerrigan tried to deny the Swarm beckoning her to return. In the timeline of this skin, Kerrigan fully rejected the Swarm.

vs. Sylvanas	That's what you get for cramping my style.		The stories of Kerrigan and Sylvanas are often compared, both forced into an all consuming antagonist faction against their will, but eventually rising to lead a portion of that faction.
vs. Terran hero	Never get in the way of a ghost in a mission.		Ghosts are feared by a great many terrans, being powerful psionic assassins and the most elite of the terran forces.
vs. Zeratul	Zeratul.		Kerrigan's inflection seems to express regret. This is likely regret over the events of Brood War, where Kerrigan manipulated Zeratul, forced him to kill Matriarch Raszagal, and allowed him to live as he would exist in torment over what he was forced to do.

Magistrate? I mean, uh, Commander? ...Wait, what do I call you again?		In the first terran campaign of StarCraft "Rebel Yell," the unnamed player character first starts as the magistrate of the planet of Mar Sara, who then becomes a commander in the Sons of Korhal separatist group. This is a poke at her addressing the player once again.
Still easily amused, huh?		"Easily amused, huh?" is one of ghost Kerrigan's select quotes from StarCraft.
I'm just glad Jim decided to help the fight to Mengsk. Can't imagine what I'd do without him.		At the beginning of Heart of the Swarm, Nova captures Raynor for Mengsk, who reports that Raynor died. This spurs Kerrigan to return to the zerg and reinfest herself to attempt revenge on Mengsk. Raynor meanwhile was trying to bring down Mengsk for a better future for the Terran Dominion free of his tyranny.
The goggles? Yeah, they do nothing.		A reference to the quote from The Simpsons "My eyes! The goggles do nothing!" Queen of Ghosts Kerrigan has additional goggled on her suit, different from the usual ghost visor.
It's been a while since I've worn a hostile environment suit. When did they get all these glowing lines?		Hostile environment suits are the light armor used by ghost agents. In Heart of the Swarm, Kerrigan gets a skin tight variant of the hostile environment suit, with glowing lines across her body, different from her appearance in StarCraft.
Never had much love for Valerian. But I have to admit, his boys in the lab whipped up some neat toys. Remind me to thank that Reigel guy when I get the chance.		At the beginning of Heart of the Swarm, Valerian Mengsk, having betrayed his father, takes Kerrigan to his birth nation of the Umojan Protectorate, who run tests on her. According to the skin, Queen of Ghosts Kerrigan uses Umojan technology. Reigel meanwhile is Valerian Mengsk's personal weapon's specialist, who helped him in his Moebius Foundation. In the canon, Reigel becomes an advisor to Nova in Nova Covert Ops.
Considering how much they spent on these wings, you think they could've sprung for a cloaking device.		Normally ghost agents are almost always equipped with cloaking. However, as Kerrigan's kit is based off of her Queen of Blades form, she lacks it.
Reminds me of an old Academy joke: What do you call a ghost that's not invisible? A corpse.		Ghost Academy is where ghosts are trained into psionic assassins. A prod at the fact ghosts and corpses are both dead.
It's nice to be human again, but you really can't make up your mind, can you, Blizzard? What's next, a Xel'naga!? (laughs) That'll be hilarious.		Kerrigan started as human, became infested by the zerg, was purged of her infestation by a relic named the Keystone, then infested again as a primal zerg to get the power she needed to get revenge on Arcturus Mengsk. At the end of Legacy of the Void, Kerrigan ascends to a xel'naga, the projenitor species of the universe, in order to kill a fallen xel'naga named Amon.

Yes, the idea of a robotic ultralisk is completely crazy. But have you seen how cool it looks?		One of Kerrigan's ultimate abilities in this skin summons a robotic ultralisk. While impractical, zerg-bots exist as training robots for terran forces. A robotic ultralisk was created as part of Project Simulant, created in spite of the project staff's wishes.
It's not hair, by the way. It's a series of tubes.		Kerrigan's hair is a series of neon tubes. A reference to the famous statement of United States senator Ted Stevens that the internet was a "series of tubes."
I am the Swarm! ..oh, sorry. It's a little tough getting the thoughts of an entire alien race out of your mind, you know. Evolve! Survive! Ugh, this is gonna take a while.		"I am the Swarm" was a common statement by Kerrigan when she ruled the Swarm. "Evolve" and "Survive" are core tenants of the Swarm.
